I'm so bored.. a christian is supposed to have a victorious life.. =P i'm so tired of living this kind of simple life..hehe..
i wanted to talk about what i just remembered today about the God chasers video! the part about zacchaeus (donno how to spell). Jesus and zacchaeus' meeting was really a divine appointment. i mean, Jesus didn't like saw zacchaeus and thought of what He was gonna say to him on the spot. He planned it. the place, and the tree. Jesus knew that that tree was the tree zacchaeus was gonna climb to see Him, because he was too short. and this reminds me about the worship thing. about our worship being imperfect, but God loves it because of us. also, doesn't it look weird to see a grown man climbing a tree? this shows how much he really longs to see Jesus. would we go all out to see Jesus Christ? are we willing to lose in the world and win with God?
wow, I tell you, the God chasers book is great! just the day before the 1st day of school, I read the 2nd part of the 1st chapter of the book. (cos earlier i had read a little bit) it talked about this church, in america i think, inviting tommy tenney (the author) to go there lah. They just spent time waiting upon the Lord. then, at some point of time, even the musicians had trouble playing their instruments, cos they were so overwhelmed. even the person playing the organ was sobbing over his instrument. the air was really thick with the presence of God. then later, or is it the next day? forgot, anyway, the pastor or another man, I can't remember also! later then continue.

wah today whole day in school. =D first I went left my house at 8:25 to go to school, then in the 53 I met tan chun, but she sat somewhere else cos of my guitar, hehe! then sophia, winnie and rebecca came. sophia "forced" me to move in, so in the end I just squeezed into the seat with the guitar lor! why am i talking about this anyway? hehe.. never mind! skip skip skip to the devotion comm meeting. hmm nothing much to say. but breanna Haha! she was just playing my guitar, then suddenly got nose bleed. hehe! breanna, please don be offended when i laugh. haha! haha!!!! today I just remembered that I didn't talk about a special part of the camp..the 2nd day praise and worship.
it was great! I think I don want to say already. hehe!
today ah, people say that the will hung was very funny. hai! the first part I went up, then I grabbed the mike, then when I tried to do the thing which audrey han says makes me look like a camel, the wire came out of the mike, then I said "stop!! restart!! restart!" then everyone was like "wah, restart ah!" haha! soooo embarrassing! =) the actions for the dance is quite nice hor, GB people? talk to me..tell me your name! haha! the "tell me your name" part is the funny one! =D

today was another boring day! blah blah.. woke up around 11:55am, then went to eat, first..I can't remember what I ate first. but I after that I ate keropok, then potato sticks, then when my mother came home and brought back some buns, I ate a donut..chocolate! hehe! so boliao. then, I played the pinball on the com..hehe..then I went to shower. Then, I spent time with God.. after that I went to call ann ann to tell her about the prefects camp stuff..then she asked me to help her with the homework, then I help lor! wah, I very nice hor! hehe! she say, next time she need help then she ask me..ohhh..I say luckily not in same class! =) then, at about 4:25 or 20, I went to eat lunch! so late right! yeah! and then, I watched tv until 5:30, then I called peixuan cos she called when I was talking to ann ann, then I said I'll call her back at 5..hehe! so I tried to do my homework while I talked to her, but I was so distracted by her singing..I also sing lah..hehe..thennn, I eat dinner, then I finally go and do properly my chinese newspaper competition thing lor. then I just edit 2 and do one more. haiya..do so little! thenn, here I am! at the com! wooh! tomorrow!!!!!!! can't wait!! hehe! I'm always so enthu about GB meetings. woohoo!!

blah blah..actually today there is a cell outing and now I feel like going!! but I don't want to wear a swimming suit =)
I actually gave up this cell outing to go for the games trial..and it was only when I went to school and met jia ling that I found out that the games trial was CANCELLED!!! ahhh!!!!
I'm quite sad I'm just a welfare comm person in the p5 n 6 prefects camp!! whyyyyyy it's so boring!! =P
anyway I just stayed for the meeting cos melissa said she needed me for the amazing race. In the end, ARGH! ok, she says i'll just be staying in school. =P

hehe, I just wanna talk about what else I learnt from the church camp! I learnt so much man! :)
ok, on the 1st night, we played this game called "the game of success". something like that lah. I think it's like that. anyway, there was a stock market, and many stalls around. there was this green club, then a purple, and the exclusive club which only excepts 20 members. on the tag that you wear if you are from the green or purple, there are these words: be envious. I can't remember what royston said about it. ahhh!!
never mind! hehe.. anyway, they sold toys (the marble!!), education, housing, food and I think that's about it lah! oh ya, got a lottery thing and also credit cards. haha.. then they also sold the 9 fruits of the Spirit and spiritual discipline. like "daily prayer for your friends" and "daily devotion" like that lah. The first fruit of the Spirit I saw was gentleness. I was like, oh, I don't want to buy this! I wanted to get the nissan. hehe! I asked tiffany what she wanted to buy, then she said "I want to buy GENTLENESS!" in the end I think she didn't buy. then, I can't remember whether I had bought anything yet, but my sister came to me and I saw that she had all the spiritual discipline and the fruits of the Spirit thing on her styrofoam board. then she said she thought she had told me how to play the game already. but she didn't! anyway, she said "you must think carefully about what to buy." so, I went around buying the spiritual stuff. I told tiff also, and eunice already knew cos she played during one of her scouts camp I think. haha!
during the game I actually picked up 2 $50 notes! just when I needed the money lor! =D ya!
at the end of the game, I got 8 fruits and 3 spiritual discipline and one credit card. hehe! I bought it from jian han. I remember royston said "everybody look at the screen!" and then they made the stock market sort of fall down like that, donno how 2 say. "oh, the stock market has crashed! everything is worthless!" then he also said "the cashiers are gone! you can grab all the money!" then a lot of people rushed to the stalls and took all the cash. wow! hehe! I also tried to see where I could get some of the money, but everywhere I went, the cashiers were already keeping the money! hehe!
in the end, what we could keep was the spiritual stuff and the money. cos everything else was worthless.
the explanation of the game came.. (I like this part!) I realised that the things of the world don't last..only the things of God. So why chase after worldly passions when they won't last?
and about the grabbing (or stealing) of the cash, it really reflects badly on us.
yeah..that made me realise that i shouldnt be caught in the things of the world, but we should really chase after God.

I improved on my drummer skills! hehe.. ryna was making a fool out of herself at the mike, singing, making odd noises. =) then rachel played the drums, I played the piano, vivien played the guitar, and of course ryna was just being mad! haha, was really fun! but at least we practised our songs anyway.

wow..church camp was great! i shant waste time, must type out as much as i can!! ok..first about the africa video..it's about this town or something called Ugana. they were really in trouble..witchcraft lah, killing and stuff like that. then, surprisingly, they got a breakthru in the end and their town and many others became christian towns, and all their rules and law was based on christian stuff! They denounced sin, sorcery, and all those other sins. wowee.. it was because they prayed, day and night, every day you could see them in the church, praying..praying.. Pacer said that we should pray for Singapore..why should we wait till trouble arises? hehe, whenever he gives a sermon, he always seems to be scolding us.
yahoo, next one! the next video was about the God chasers..a church was singing this song, waaaiiitt...on You...we wait.....we wait.... that kind of thing lah! then at a part of the song, this man Tommy Tenney comes to the centre of the stage and says something like, you say you wait on the Lord..you think you have been waiting on the Lord for a long time..but you don't know how long the Lord has been waiting on you..
he keeps talking, but focusing on this point: the Lord has always been waiting on you. I'll just say what I can remember.. he talked about our worship being like refrigerator art. you know the little children's scribbles and "nonsense" lah. God collects them because we are His children! not because they are perfect(which they aren't of course) but because we are His children. so interesting.. then the most touching part came when he talked about the angels worshipping God, giving Him such beautiful praises and worship. But God suddenly hears something below, on the earth, He says, "wait a minute, I hear something!" hehe.. then He practically desperately grabs some vessels and gets up from His throne, and goes down to that small place where people where worshipping Him. the Lord seeks true worshippers. wow, this suddenly came to my mind! anyway, yeah, He comes down and collects all of the worship from the people, putting them into His vessels, and keeps sending up those vessels filled with His children's worship. the angels wonder, why does God bother with them? Who are they, that He pays such close attention to them? but He keeps collecting, and collecting. during the video I was trying to keep my tears down. I was really touched man! hehe, I was planning to let them go during the worship after that.. and you know what God decorates heaven-a place which has walls that are lined with precious stones and the floors pure gold? Our worship! our messy scribbles, our imperfect "drawings". and it's because He loves us.
