wow..church camp was great! i shant waste time, must type out as much as i can!! ok..first about the africa video..it's about this town or something called Ugana. they were really in trouble..witchcraft lah, killing and stuff like that. then, surprisingly, they got a breakthru in the end and their town and many others became christian towns, and all their rules and law was based on christian stuff! They denounced sin, sorcery, and all those other sins. wowee.. it was because they prayed, day and night, every day you could see them in the church, praying..praying.. Pacer said that we should pray for Singapore..why should we wait till trouble arises? hehe, whenever he gives a sermon, he always seems to be scolding us.
yahoo, next one! the next video was about the God chasers..a church was singing this song, waaaiiitt...on You...we wait.....we wait.... that kind of thing lah! then at a part of the song, this man Tommy Tenney comes to the centre of the stage and says something like, you say you wait on the Lord..you think you have been waiting on the Lord for a long time..but you don't know how long the Lord has been waiting on you..
he keeps talking, but focusing on this point: the Lord has always been waiting on you. I'll just say what I can remember.. he talked about our worship being like refrigerator art. you know the little children's scribbles and "nonsense" lah. God collects them because we are His children! not because they are perfect(which they aren't of course) but because we are His children. so interesting.. then the most touching part came when he talked about the angels worshipping God, giving Him such beautiful praises and worship. But God suddenly hears something below, on the earth, He says, "wait a minute, I hear something!" hehe.. then He practically desperately grabs some vessels and gets up from His throne, and goes down to that small place where people where worshipping Him. the Lord seeks true worshippers. wow, this suddenly came to my mind! anyway, yeah, He comes down and collects all of the worship from the people, putting them into His vessels, and keeps sending up those vessels filled with His children's worship. the angels wonder, why does God bother with them? Who are they, that He pays such close attention to them? but He keeps collecting, and collecting. during the video I was trying to keep my tears down. I was really touched man! hehe, I was planning to let them go during the worship after that.. and you know what God decorates heaven-a place which has walls that are lined with precious stones and the floors pure gold? Our worship! our messy scribbles, our imperfect "drawings". and it's because He loves us.
