ok ppl..you all may think i'm siao, crazy, wacko! anyway, this is what i experienced sat night.. i wrote it in a book after that.. jus don laugh or anything ok! =D ok, here goes..
How can I not be happy when i have this blessed assurance? Woohh!! Tonight, I experienced something that is close to the true adoration of the living God. Oh, it just can't be described. I was kinda in self pity? When I looked thru my camp notes, (it all started there) I suddenly remembered about the 2nd day's p&w. suddenly, I was feeling so nostalgic. I really missed that experience. i played my guitar and sang a few songs..like purify my heart, burn it deep, let it rain. then i kept crying, talking to God about it. cos i was really sad lah. How i miss it! Then, I realised, I should stop crying, b'cos there is hope for that to come back. Then, I prayed about running that race. I'm a servant of God. It's a really big honour to serve the Almighty God! I really never experienced such adoration. I didn't feel God's presence mightily, but God was listening. That matters a lot. Somehow, I went on to adore God.
Stop looking thru the world's eyes. Start looking and focusing on the goal alone, and not at the ppl around u, but look at God. Focus. Push away distractions. Won't you give up your pride and dignity for Jesus Christ? Didn't He suffer the greatest humiliation and put down? He, the Son of the Almight God?
God is saying, here, child, come to me. The Father wants His children to worship Him. Weren't we made for that purpose? What is our purpose?
Don't live life for yourself, because we have a higher purpose! Our purpose is to serve God, to worship God. But God, He's so amazing. We are meer servants, yet He comes down from His throne to meet us. O, what a King! What a Father! What a Master! Who can compare to Him? No other love is greater than His. We are meer servants of God, yet He dies for us, humbles himself for us. What r we? Surely we don't deserve it o God! Why do You love us so much? (then it struck me..hehe..)don't forget..we are His children. How great is the Father's love that is lavished on us!! God is awesome!! He's unexplained, uncomprehensible. He's God almighty, Deliverer, Sovereign God. How great is the Father's love! He does it not for duty, but right from His heart!!!!
Yeah, look at that! hehe.. you know, I was thinking, Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for us, and now we must sacrifice ourselves too, (well it's not a must lah..but u know what i mean lah!)it's just like a love story! dont you think so tooo? hehehe.. Yet will I praise Thee.. lalala.. i like that song! hoohoo!
haha, i came up with this stupid joke today.. knock knock! who's there? hee haw! hee haw who? hee haw hehh!!
hehehe! lame! lalala..oh yeah, huiming was singing that ymca song, then I went to check out the lyrics..hee hee! it's so funny.. Young man! You don't need to feel down! I say, young man! pick yourself from the ground! i say, young man! blah blah..then.. it's fun to be at the Y! M! C! A! it's fun to be at the Y! M! C! Aaa.. you can donno what, you can lalala, lalala..
haha.. hoho! today at lunch we were singing songs! mostly old macdonald had a farm and He's got the whole world in His hands! haha.. He's got the funky old ladies in His hands!
