LEADERS CAMP!!!!! hahahaha!!
yay, leaders camp was great! ok i'll start off with the first day.

1st day:
First, we met together. i still felt a little sick that time. but i was ok. then, we sang songs and i played the guitar. ok this doesn't sound fun but i'm getting to it!!
hehe, then, the others went kayaking, and me, nic ding and grace w. stayed back in school, and we had to join the sec 1s till the rest went back to the gb bb campsite.
guess what? one of us had to do commanding for the sec 1s when they take attendance. and guess what? i was the one who had to do it. what else could i expect anyway? hehe, nic is a slacker, and grace..well, she won't have much of a say with nic around. =)
Soooo, we waited and waited until it was THE TIME for me to command. haha.
so i stood in front of the sec 1s and the other sec 2s stood somewhere else. actually i thought it was gonna be a proper roll call, but then michelle chang or something like dat just gave me instructions lor. like "take dressing now" and something like that. hehe.
then, the worst part was that i kept laughing. or giggling. =) at least didn't burst out laughing, so it was quite ok lah. but i never commanded for anyone, except those kind of practice with frens drill. so it sounded very odd! =D
then we went up to the ava theaterette for the briefing for the sec 1 tc. it was quite odd! some of the sec 1s thought that we went to help the officers or something.
wow i'm still on the 1st day.
it was quite fun with the sec 1s. i actually told someone that i could stay with them forever. (i meant for the rest of the camp =D) then i got to know Shiny Legs better!! but when u swim, ur legs can become like that, so shiny meh?? anyway shiny legs also had bruised legs. but she is still called shiny legs =D
ok, a lot of things happened on the first night.
first, we got a scolding after dinner by miss lin. after that we had mass games!! the sucking mentos games was quite funny, and the best was the *tap*-I LOVE SHARON!
haha!! michelle chang was in charge of the game. when we went to tat station, she said "i know who's gonna be the loudest already." oh i think ms ting was there too. then, wat happened was michelle made everyone stand up around me, with the ability to open their eyes, and i was in the middle (still with closed eyes, squatting down) shouting "I love Sharon!" at the top of my voice. hehehe sharon said "i love you too!"
that night, i couldnt really sleep cos too many things happened that day, so couldn't really settle down. then i kept thinking about the sharon game. =D

2nd day!
yuck, heritage tour and service learning. hehe, squad 1 and 3 were together, so i stuck with esther most of the time. and our seniors were grace and angel. well there's nothing much to say lah. but the elderly lady my group took was very pitiful, and she didnt have much will to live already. she thought life was meaningless. I didn't talk to her cos she spoke dialect, hehe, so sylvia and mrs chong helped to translate whatever she said.
hmmmm...nothing much happened today lah. but, oh yeah!! i think this was the day that devotion comm didnt brush teeth at night, is it? hehehe our stinky secret. wait, maybe it was first night. i'm not too sure!
oh yes oh yes i think this was the night when we had this blindfold game. it was so fun!!! the best part was when we entered the ROOM. by the way, when we were in the ROOM, my grp was made up of devos!!! wooohoo!! =) then we kept singing! we held on TOGETHER! haha.. anyway, in the room, someone kept touching my face with her fingers. wonder who was that. and kept irritating my face with something. so i grabbed hold of that thing. but then i think ms ting said, "itchy fingers"! so i let go of it. in the room, it was really funny, they used their legs as obstacles for us to climb over. I was the one in front of the group lah, but then i was also blindfolded. I kept saying, "I'm confused." The 2nd time i said that, i think ms ting said "this is the 2nd time you said that". hahaha. i think they didn't like me saying that. Then later ms ting was trying to discourage me or something, she kept bringing up my confusement. "Althea, you are confused right?" and more nonsense. hehe.
yes i think today was the day when esther and i came up with the i love ms lin song!! i kept wanting to sing that song in front of ms lin, but in the end we DIDN"T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =( boohoohoo..

3rd day!! this was one of the best days!!!!!
today we did training kits. the nicest one was the one with MS WENDY WONG!! she was amazing! she knew our names! and she knew my surname! isn't that amazing? heheh
Her lesson was interesting lor. She let us watch chicken run. i dont really like that show but it was fine. and she brought her friend ginger. hahaha but it was kinda gay.(new word learnt from esther) "i brought my friend along!" so i said hi to that silly chicken.
i shall skip the other boring ones. haha for one my eyes were closing, almost as bad as mrs loo's bio lesson.
then for the last training kit i was in the same group as aud han, er..francesca, pui ling, errr...who's that..i can't really remember. but i can remember the rest becos they were sitting in front of me. =) and aud han was kind of destructive to our structure! she kept pulling the straws out! So i thought that the teacher wanted her to be someone who's supposed to DESTROY! hahahaha
oh yes, CAMP FIRE!!!!!!!!! wait wait, special programme first!! Mrs Chong's farewell!!!! hahaha!!! i like our skit lor! the leader's one! it was quite lame actually, but it's nice! it's about a GB day when everything went haywire.
so it started with inventry, and jacqueline was late! HAHA! then, it was DEVOTION!!!!!!!! we started by leading in songs, and we sang, "climb climb up sunshine mountain"! Then breanna, me, valerie and esther were the ones singing, and winnie was the one playing the guitar. So we all were like moving up and down! hahaha!! it was so toot! (so gay!)
then right, we all "forgot" the lyrics, so we stopped and said, oh no we forgot the lyrics! so we decided to sing "this is the day". then we sang the song until gao xiao. wait i donno what's the word! never mind. so i sang it until so low, then the teachers were like laughing and laughing at all of us when we sang the whole song. then we sang until so unenthu! hehe!
So of course after singing we pray right? so we were like,"you pray lah! no you pray lah!" and all that nonsense. so in the end i got pushed to the front, and i "shivered in fright"! hahaha! then the prayer goes like this "d-dear God,..thank You for today! AMEN!" then i ran away. hahahah our skit was cool!
and THEN, it was sophia's turn! hehehe!! the drill comm! wow, can u just imagine komathi marching like that? never lor. hahah slackers! then the badgework, aud han was mrs chong! and everyone wasnt paying attention. hahah i cant really remember the rest of the skit. but we just sang Go light your world and Find us faithful. =)

I'll never forget the campfire. I was also part of the campfire comm, so during the campfire, francesca and i were the mcs for singing. Then francesca was afraid of the mike, so i was the one talking. =D I discovered that i liked the mike so much. i kept wanting the mike. hehehe! Like addict like that. I just talked crap into the mike. Then during the friendship dance, it was so fun! especially when i can tell them wat to do. haha! I told them to crawl. "Get down on your knees everybody! We're going to crawl!" hahahah!! And the hentak one made everyone look stupid! haha!!
Then when it was time for sharing, i was the first one to share. Then someone said, "yay Althea!" then started clapping, then in the end everyone clapped. anyway, we all always clapped. haha. I just talked about this, "I was sick on tuesday, wednesday, thursday, so do u know why i could come to the camp?" then they were like, "WHY?" haha, then i said, "hehe, cos God healed me! ya i'm very happy to be here! ya that's all!" hahah that was it! short and simple. But i forgot to talk about devotion comm!!! HOW COULD I?? For the rest of the sharers, they came in groups. looks like i was the only confident person. hahaha
Oh yes! the devo comm finally managed to sing the song. but you know what? the lyrics were changed!!!! so wats the point!!!! Ms lin was changed to officers! =(
but at least we sang lahh. During the clean up, i learnt the real lyrics for I like big butts, and i've already typed those in.
Oh ya, during the camp, i discovered that actually fran and pui (don mind me calling u all that =D) are not scary! hahaha they are very friendly!
oh yea i forgot to talk about the sleeping part! AMARIA slept with us!! DEVOS rule! haha!
and actually esther was sharing the bed with me! then the others were like, "you two better not do anything funny!" then esther said, "what else can we do?..besides gaying around?" hahahah!
and esther showed me how i slept that night. i was like up close to her, facing her, and with a silly smile on my face, peacefully sleeping. then she said she woke me up to tell me that she's going up to her own bunk, and i said "oh ok." but i really cant remember doing that at all! hahahaha anyway i didn't know i smiled in my sleep. must be smile too much when i not sleeping. heeheheh so gay!

TODAY!
we had drill test! WE PASSED!!! ALL OF US!!!! except two sec 1s..but we passed! I finally passed stage 2!! i want to go to the DI course!
yay it was VERY SIMPLE. especially the theory. SOOooo simple. tooo simple! it was a DRAMATIC CHANGE! wonderful! =)
by the way, if u guys are still worrying, the officers got my hp! haha when i realised i "lost" it on the bus back to the campsite, i wasnt worried at all. i had this.. PEACE in me. (hold on, don get excited, i'm not supporting the peace platoon okay.hehe.) My devos and sophia and others kept asking me, where did u leave it? and all the questions, showing so much care, and i wasnt even worried at all. heehehehe!!
anyway i didn't have to worry, the Lord took care of it!!!!!!! =) ya anyway, mrs ong took such GREAT CARE of me and peixuan's hp that she brought it all the way home. somewhere in thomson or something. sooo, ms ho, being the great responsible captain (i'm not being sarcastic!), drove us to mrs ong's house! and back home! all the way! wow! cool! =D
it was actually quite fun talking to her. she said that i've changed since sec 1. yeah i have! thanks to the william hung experience! =D esther also realised that i started opening up after that. GB really changed my life. just like it has changed so many others. especially ms ho. (heeheheee macdonalds!!!) it's actually really amazing HOR! hahahh cos God is doing a work in us! cool! I didn't know i could talk so much.

i'll miss the camp. i'll miss everyone!!!!!!!!!!
