Camp was great!!!!!!!
Camps i go to are always nice. But this is one of the nicest.
I think it's a bit too short..cos only 1 and half days and 1 night. but still good.
Actually during the lunch time, i felt very bored.
My group was outcasted from the rest, cos we sat right at the end, then some more got one table separating us from the next group.
Then we all hardly talked lah.
But after everything, we became more fun! =) always got happy endings, of course.
During the services, the worship was very good. especially the 2nd service.
during the 2nd service, i didnt have to play the guitar, so i also joined the others.
I could really feel God's presence at that time lor. hehe.
There was this freedom to worship God. Not like during past chapel times, everyone just stand and pretend to sing.

I also used to have this dream of PL worshipping God with all their hearts, but then i thought that it would be very hard, or almost impossible. but it did happen! =D

During the quiet time this morning, with genevive, meishi, xiurong, adeline and me, it was very interesting. First, we sang a song, i think All Of My Days. It was today when i realised how meaningful it is.

yep, then xiu rong said that as we were praising God, the verse Joshua 1:9 came to her mind. Then adeline said that she also kept thinking of the words. Meishi just kept thinking of "Be strong and courageous". As for me, when i flipped open the bible, i was at Joshua, chapter 1. Interesting right??! hahaha!
So we all read joshua chap 1. and this verse hit me "No one can stand against you" something like that. no one can stand against us, cos God is with us. amen!!
As for joshua 1:9, it's something like "Have i not commanded you? Be strong and courageous." then it goes on. yesterday, during the treasure hunt, all of us had to memorise a part of joshua 1:6-9, so i guess it stuck in our heads. And God used it for some kind of purpose. We must always be strong and very courageous, cos we gotta do big things for God.

When mrs tan was doing her "sermon", what struck me was when she said that "God wants you." Jesus wants to know you. I know i heard this many times, but it's just very..striking! hehe. She asked, "what are your fears?"
I knew mine straight away, and the examples she gave were exactly the same as mine lor. =) Fear of rejection; fear of people. That's what has been holding me back.
That's why God wants us to be bold. Be strong! Be courageous!! =D
actually ah, it's so amazing that noah was able to stay holy, after 100years of mockery and ppl laughing at him.
She also told this story she heard on a cassette tape.
Suppose someone comes up to you and wants to rent your house.
You say, "yeah, sure".
And suppose that someone painted the house pink, and broke down the kitchen walls to make a balcony and watever nonsense, what would you say?
You'd definitely be super angry.
But what if the guy buys your house, and he does those stuff after that, would it be ok? You'd say, of course, it'd be your house. You can do whatever you want.
For most of us, God is just a tenant.
He cant do anything to you, without your permission.
Does God own you?

after her "sermon", there was an altar call for 3 grps of ppl la.
So some of us went forward, and the teachers prayed for us. Mrs tay prayed for me fIRST! haha!
Then when the teacher asked the others to pray for the ones in front, we prayed for vivian. I didnt pray la, just laid my hand on her. =) Then, they decided to pray for me. So actually there was delia, vivian and zong xia. Then while delia or zongxia was praying, suddenly 5 or more people came and laid their hands on me, and i was surrounded. it was encouraging lah. So many people praying for me. haha.
Then meishi felt that she should tell me this: that i should walk with God, in faith, and also use my guitar to share God with others.
The exco were the first to tell me this, then delia prayed for me to do that, and next meishi told me that. So, it's like triple already. At first i thought it was something simple, nothing fantastic lah, i mean when the exco told me.
I thought they just called the "playing guitar for singspiration" = sharing God with others.
But in a way, it really is. And i found out that i can just sing and play the guitar for people. But, my singing is a bit odd. hahaha. "foOolishness i knoow."
Somehow lah, will be ok. cannot limit Christ's potential in me! donno hear from where one. Then delia also prayed that i will compose songs for God. wow. hehe. who knows??
after they prayed for me, we went to sit down again.
Then we were near meiyin, then i had a great idea! pray for her! hehehe, so in the end delia and vivian and meishi prayed for her. i think so la.
at that time, you can really feel God's love. Filling our hearts.
oh yeah, the testimony time!!
The QT group went to share FIRST!!! hahaha. shared about our joshua 1:9 thingy. so interesting. =D God really spoke to many of us during the camp lor.
Then got two sec 1s went up to share about their praying at the storeroom. Then they saw a little pink bird. Pink bird? anyway, it shows a new beginning lah, for the yr 2005. And i was thinking about the same thing, that next yr is gonna be totally different, in a good way.

also want to talk about mrs tay's sermon too.
She used the story of the incredibles. it was very interesting.
Like, the incredibles had to stop using his super powers to save ppl.
mr.incredible still continued to save ppl secretly, while his wife stopped for the sake of her family. However, when she found the white hair, edna reminded her of her identity!! And she remembered who she was, a superhero!! dadada!!
Violet, when she tried to do the forcefield, remember that she was very rusty at it?
When you turn the story to us, we must always remember that we are children of God!
If we forget, we wouldnt do what we're called to do. Like sharing God with people.
And even if people dont allow us to be christians, like how the ppl didnt allow the incredibles to be supaheroes, we must still keep our identity. yeah.

oh yeah, was it just coincidence that the lambos saw the ERO shop, and i said "ero the hero"? hehehe
